Last summer Frenkie De Jong was the main target for Ten Hag in his first season in charge. It was the summer saga of whether Manchester United would sign him. Now it looks like United has a chance to make it happen this summer.

Adrien Rabiot was a player Ten Hag was interested in bringing to the club on an occasion of times. United was leading the race for his signature, however, it seems now that he is going to stay at Juventus. United also offered a higher weekly wage which didn't seem to entice him.
